Now that I am older, shooting my age should be easier. 10 years ago, I assumed it would be easier as I aged. Wrong. My body no longer obeys. Anyway, shot a 73 at my club, PCC. First time.

Big Grin

I've only parred one course in my life after playing/practicing religiously for about 30 years. My best handicap was 8. I was able to get good at golf but never really good or great, and it frustrated the hell out of me.

I consider my best round ever to be an 84. Sounds kind of shitty, but it was at Pebble Beach from the pro tees.

I haven't played much since, since I fubared my ankle, but I'm hoping to get out this year and try to get back into it.

Congrats BTW, that's a great round! Good enough to keep you coming back, right? Golf has a way of teasing you like that. Wink

He only skipped the hole with the windmill on the back nine.

Just kidding that’s very impressive.

I shot my age once.

In dog years.

The course Pro said he never believed a person could be so utterly inept at hitting a golf ball as to have the tee shot from the fifth hole hit a tree, land on the green for the fourth, and roll straight into the water hazard on the third.

Damn, 73 at 73 is a hell of an achievement, especially for us amateurs. 74 is my best round and I am 48. Congrats.

That is seriously good golf with real bragging rights!

I'll never shoot my age, unless I pay a surrogate or play like Bill Clinton. Anything under 80 is pure talent and hard work.
