I bumped into this today for the first time and it's funny. I don't recall ever seeing Jack Benny, but I knew I've seen or heard the guy playing the floor walker, so I looked him up. His name is Frank Nelson and I've heard him as a the voice of several salesmen on the Flintstones and Mr. Cow in the "How many licks..." Tootsie Pop commercial from the 70s.
