I’ve seen 2/3 of everything east of St. Louis, but I’d like to watch a Royals game at Kauffman Stadium, and a Phillies Game at Citizens Bank Park.

I wish I would have seen a game at Milwaukee’s old County Stadium. I was fortunate enough to see Comiskey Park and the old Tigers stadium in my youth.

I might get back to see the Dodgers in a few months. Haven't since 1963. Watched them at the Colosseum too. Even saw the LA Angels at Wrigley Field in LA.

Haven't been to too many ball games, but I've been to the old Angels stadium, Comiskey, Wrigley, the old Yankee stadium, and Fenway. Fenway was really special (2004 ALCS).

Well, I've got a unique story for this.

I was in Chicago in, I think, 1991, for a continuing education course for my profession at the time.

On Saturday night, I went out with some of the locals. One girl said she knew some people who lived in one of the apartments on Sheffield Avenue, bordering Wrigley Field, where people would sit on the rooftop and watch Cubs games for free, and she took us there.

Old building. I remember worn brown stain on the steps leading up to the apartment. A really narrow staircase.

It was late. I remember Saturday Night Live was playing on TV in the apartment. I can't remember if they took me up to the roof, or just onto a balcony.

It was December, I think. Solid overcast, light snow.

"Well, there it is, if you could see it."

Pitch black, not a light showing in the stadium or on the street. Literally, I could see nothing but solid black. These days, someone might have a decent flashlight to illuminate something at least, but, no.

If someone blindfolded you and shoved you into a broom closet, you would be able to see more than I saw of Wrigley Field.

Do you mean Anaheim Stadium? The only time I was there was for a Lynyrd Skynyrd/Ted Nugent concert in 1977 or 78.

Would kind of like to attend games in Fenway and Dodgers stadium. Unfortunately that would require spending time in Boston and LA.
Not sure the juice is worth the squeeze for me.

As a kid got to go see a game at Crosley Field in the late 60's, the Reds old stadium from 1912 to 1970, it was actually built in 1884, then updated several times until it became Crosley.

Also went to a few of the inaugural season games at Riverfront stadium, those massive 70's concrete structures were unreal to a 10 year old boy.

Been to the A's stadium in Oakland for a WS final game when I was on a trip to SFO

Imagine Wrigley, Fenway, Oriole Park, Citizens Bank Park, Coors Field, Yankee Stadium to name a few but I don't follow baseball much so maybe one or two of those will happen

July 4th headed to Kauffman stadium to see the Royals and the Phillies. Evening game and fireworks show after the game. Should be a great night.

Nope. Wrigley Field was a longtime minor league park for the original LA Angels. I think that team was bought and moved to Spokane when O'Malley moved the Dodgers. Current Angels played their first year there. Been torn down.

Petco in San Diego and Oracle in San Francisco are my top two that I've yet to visit.

Of the parks I've been to (which is a lot), Wrigley and PNC stand out as amazing venues. I also really like Kauffman as a hidden gem. Just a great place to watch a game. I'm pretty "meh" on Fenway as a ballpark, but the atmosphere around a Red Sox game is fun.

My biggest disappointment was probably Yankee Stadium (the new one). I know they were trying to pay homage to the original, but it just doesn't hold up to the newer offerings.

I would have liked to have gone to the old Tiger Stadium and see if Cecil Fielder could put one on the roof.

I'd like to go to Wrigley (last time I was there it was closed for renovations), American Family Field (formerly Miller Park) and Great American Ball Park.

I've been to Citi Field, but I'd like to say I've been to Yankee Stadium too.

And then of course, Dodger Stadium.

I've been to Fenway, for those that haven't, do. It was a great experience. Check seating though, not all seats have unobstructed few of the field...My first major league game was in Tiger Stadium, got me hooked on the game ever since.

I still haven't seen Fenway Park. Should be easy to get tickets this year (aka worst team in American league and 2nd worst overall team in MLB).

Many of the MLB parks I visited as a kid have been torn down and replaced with $500+ million dollar stadiums. Some of the old places like Tiger Stadium had a lot of character and an amazing playing surface, but had obstructed views for fans and not many amenities. Very few new stadiums have much character, but every seat has great view and lots of fan amenities.

Fenway is perhaps one of the best ballpark experiences.

Factoid - Wrigley in Chicago did not have lights until 1998. All the games prior were day games.

Yep,

Late in 1941 Phillip Wrigley purchased 165 tons of steel and lights so the Cubs would play night games starting in 1942.

When we joined the war, PK Wrigley donated the lights and steel to a local navy yard. PK changed his mind later and refused to have the Cubs play night games as long as he owned the team. They became the last team to host a night game. And the first scheduled night game was canceled due to rain.

I want to see Camden Yards, I like brick and old bay seasoning.

I would also love to see a Royals game. Any excuse to get to KC and its food scene…

While I am NOT a big fan of Massachusetts I do want to see a Red Sox game at Fenway before I die.

I lived in Boston for a couple of years in the mid-eighties. Kenmore Square was my subway stop and both of my apartments were further along what was still Yawkey Way, so I walked by Fenway Park all the time. Sometimes I would pop in to catch the last inning or two of a game. The gates were open and unattended by that time, and you could walk right in. Often down to the first few rows. Pretty cool.

You'll be happy with both places. Camden is really the first "modern" ballpark that was designed with character instead of just utility. It has held up well.
