I will be attending a high school sports tournament in Georgia this weekend ( I live in FL). My reading of GA Statutes 16-11-127.1(c)(7) as posted on handgunlaw.us website tells me it is ok for me to keep a firearm in my vehicle while parked at the school. Naturally, I would like to travel armed, but I will need to keep the firearm in my vehicle during the tournament. Is my understanding correct, I am fine to have a firearm in my un-attended vehicle parked in a public school parking lot? TIA
