I have a Mac Mini and a PC laptop. Both mailboxes are currently at zero. Rarely are there more than 1 or 2 left in the inboxes, and it's usually none.

Work email has 15 currently. All stuff that I intend to follow up on. Keeps it in the front of my mind.

I have 4. I read a few but mostly delete everything that comes. Some go to save folders. The 4 that are there I have opened and just need to get back to, but no rush. I hate clutter! _________________________ Einstein defines insanity as "Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"

Generally, I use my inbox as my to-do list. Once I’ve read something, it goes to a folder, especially Work. If it’s something that I need to follow up on, I leave it until I get done. Zero is always the goal, but usually one or two. I’m off for over two weeks right now though. I will get to work and have nearly 2000 emails to cull through. Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here. Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard. -JALLEN "All I need is a WAR ON DRUGS reference and I got myself a police thread BINGO." -jljones

Unread? Zero. I deal with them quickly. I unsubscribe from anything I'm not actively involved with. I file spam as spam. Only thing that sits in my inbox is something I need to be involved with immediately. Everything else goes into a folder. I probably have about 25 folders for storing emails that I "might" need to reference later. Sometimes, you gotta roll the hard six

I keep my In Box on the phone down to a couple dozen. I download most emails to a folder on my desktop. If too many buildup on the phone I afraid it might get too heavy to carry.

Home: zero Work unread: 700+ Work read and filed: 5k+ (1% of these are absolute must haves, but never know what they will be until after the fact, could be up to a year later) Work "To be Trashed/Archive" folder: 10k+ I do not care for Outlook, but it's better than G-mail and the awful .mil (Lotus notes was my favorite)

0 here, I do a good job at unsubscribing and spamming bullshit emails and handle legit emails usually day of or shortly after if extra time is needed. ...Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, was just a freight train coming your way...

~20 years ago, one of my favorite bosses; was a real dedicated worker. Cool as a cucumber, nose to the grindstone 9-5. BUT, at 5:01pm on Friday he would often hit select all > delete all. Said if it was important they would write back the next week!

It's a lost cause. I hope nobody takes it personally I didn't respond to their email... I remember reading years ago, a piece in the WSJ if I recall, that email had become a worthless tool. I thought how could that be, a free, lightening fast, image and multimedia capable, messaging system capable of delivery anywhere in the world. The problem, is anybody in the world has access to it for free. The construction industry was very slow to adopt technology. Today they've fully embraced it; I get hundreds of emails a day. I don't even try to keep up with it anymore. It's a tool for my use, not marketers, spamers or scamsters.

None. I check my mail a few times every day, delete what I dont need. "But, as luck would have it, he stood up. He caught that chunk of lead."
