I am sooooo glad my pals told me to live in IA and not IL when we moved here 25 years ago. I PCSed to work on the Rock Island Arsenal, an island on the Mississippi that is part of IL. People cross the river both ways to work, funny how the IA side is booming while the IL side is...not.
