I have to do that to every pair of wool socks I have. They seem to act like velcro for hair.

I had one of my wife's long hairs wrap around my second toe while at work.

Was feeling a sharp pain on my toe. At first, I thought I had a splinter or fingernail clipping stuck under my sock. It wasn't until a few hours later when I took my boots and sock off, that I found the hair strangling my toe. My toe was white at that point.

File name: Crap you remember from five decades ago.

When I was 14 y.o., my sister had twins, Their grandma, ( my mom) taught me how to give them a bath.

She taught me about the hair thing, and on the boys you had to check the weener , as well. Never ! Just start yanking the hair.

Babies skin is so! Delicate that it slices right through the skin. Glad to hear the baby is well. And! Now we are gonna need a picture.

My happy baby girl is back! She hadn’t been sleeping good at all and had been unusually fussy for the past few days. I wonder how long that hair tourniquet was there.

Her whole toe was bright red before now the tip of the toe is the same color as the rest. I suppose it will take a few day’s for the inflammation from the hair tourniquet and surgeons cut to heal and look normal.

What a doll, glad she's ok! After 7 kiddos here, I've never heard of that either!

Glad to hear recovery is well underway for your wee one.
My oldest had her first - also a little girl - on the 23d. I'll be passing this on tomorrow!

Thanks!

Learn something new everyday.

Glad to hear things went well. It's always scary when it evolves your kids (especially little ones).

I fully agree! Right decision. Happy for you that this problem has been taken care of!

Do have to wonder about "hair tourniquet" tho. Never heard of it before.
