Yeah, me too. But more inland. NC or SC is my retirement goal.

Like everything, Folly has changed over the years.... it used to be basic simple beach houses.... two maybe three bedrooms with one bath and often no AC. Now it is mostly giant homes that sleep 16-20 or more... this house is really nice but has only three bedrooms and two baths.... and most importantly allows dogs... I've been coming to Folly Beach off and on since the 60's.

I've only been going for the past 20 years or so. Seems like there's more of just...everything there now. Our group has dwindled down to only 4 or 5 and we've been retreating to the NC mountains instead of Folly, but your picture makes me want to head back to the beach.

I could really, really use your perspective right now.

I think five or six days of that might very well get me through the next six months.

Greenville?

We just moved to Anderson in June.
I have to say it's been really nice. :-)

I was telling my wife last night how badly I wanted to get on a plane with her and fly to Turks and Caicos and enjoy a bit of beach therapy on grace bay again. I can fly direct from Charlotte and be in that turquoise water faster than I can drive to VA beach.

That place is my happy place. The Royal West Indies resort let’s you borrow bicycles, catamarans and kayaks. I cannot tell you how cool it is cycle or walk everywhere you need to go. We caught a few shuttles sure for excursions but a week of not driving on their chaotic roads and just riding a bike everywhere was pretty neat. Oh and the food was INCREDIBLE!

They are a British territory but accept USD. As soon as the world actually returns to normal I’m hopping on a plane and getting some much needed beach therapy.
