No honey baked ham's for me, I'm a cheap bastard, and refuse to pay that much for ham.

We love them and I need to get one ordered. Years ago we were on our way to the Gulf for a week and we stopped at a HBH store in Montgomery and took one with us. It lasted most, if not all of the week and there were no complaints.

Honeybaked ham is good but wickedly expensive. And I hated getting in line as it would be at least almost around the block.

My wife has learned to glaze ham even better than Honeybaked so we stopped buying Honeybaked Ham.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I get one every year from my work and give it away every year. I’m a real meat and potatoes guy but never warmed up to ham for whatever reason.

They are definitely excellent as far as ham goes though.

I paid freekin $80 bucks for my turkey this year so $100 for a ham ready to go is not that out of line I suppose.

I remember when Honey Baked Ham was a single store in Detroit. I was a service technician for a telephone peripherals equipment company. They were a customer of ours.

Honeybaked is OK, but I much prefer salt-cured ham. Country ham, Virginia ham, whatever it's called where one is. Robertson's sugar-cured hams are very good, too. The nearest outlet to me is more than an hour's drive away, though.
