I've got Google Fiber for internet wifi at the house and it is light years faster and more reliable than Xifinity ever was. Was thinking of adding Google TV.

Anybody a user ?

You talking about YouTube TV? Not sure what Goggle TV is.

I watch YouTube TV on a Verizon FiOS connection with direct gigabet ethernet from the fiber to their modem. I couple that with three Google WiFi access points. The TV responds to the Google WiFi access points easily through a Chromecast device. "Okay Google, watch FoxNews" and on the show comes. It comes with a substantial DVR feature, so I can watch NCIS on my schedule. Of course, I have to get a P229 and a Zero Tolerance knife out before I watch that show.

If you mean Youtube.TV...yes. I've streaming it through my PC Media Server from the web site for about a month...dumped Xfinity cable. Smile The only thing I would change about it is I wish they had a grid schedule that shows upcoming programs throughout the day and really any day you want to search. Xfinity's TV GO web site had that and was very useful. Otherwise I have ZERO complaints...

No guys. Google Fiber tv.

It’s not available everywhere but we’ve had google fiber for a couple of years here. Internet service is great.

Thinking of dropping xfinity for tv and adding google to service....Tired of xfinity packages and contracts bs.

We have Google Fiber gigabit internet and had Google TV from the beginning. Real good experience, good user interface and very reliable. Over 200 HD channels. Google then jacked-up the price to if I remember correctly from $50 to $80.

Since we only watch a handful of channels anyway, we then made the switch to DirectTV Now who had a promotion where they gave you a Apple 4K TV. They then increased the price from $40 to $50/month while dropping some of our favorite channels.

We then switched to YouTube TV streaming via our Apple TV. Currently $50 with 50+ channels and all the ones we like.

So in summary: really liked Google TV but the price was too high for us.
