My most recent recordings on my TIVO Bolt suddenly have commercials added in between sections of shows. I really notice it on PBS documentaries which tend to run long sections of program and then do commercials. I had heard they were going to be adding ads about their new equipment but these are regular product promos and there are a lot of them in long stretches. I have really liked TIVO service to put programs where I can enjoy them in my time frames but this really sucks. Anyone else noticing this and is there anything that can be done to cancel this out?

I think I may have gotten my first TiVo in 2005. With the lifetime subscription, I think it was $700. Totally worth it.

I’d guess TiVo has declined since then.
