Coffee is not a diuretic.
Caffeine is, and it occurs naturally in coffee. Can we not split hairs?
He didn't say decaf.
To quote David Letterman:
"Decaffeinated coffee is like non-alcoholic gin."

patwI feel your pain. Today was not a good day. Not to be gross but I had my normal morning coffee, about 3-4 cups, half decaf and half fully loaded, and I think I have expelled food I haven't eaten yet. Next time I have a colonoscopy, I know to drink more coffee and less "go lightly". I am sure it is the caffeine that messes with me.

Hahahahaha. Nice.
I'm an addict and won't lie about it. About 2 pots a day for me starting when I get up in the morning.
Constant running to the head.

yaniciSeems the older I get, and I'm an old fart now, the coffee stays in me during the daytime. At night it keeps me making mucho trips to make up for not going enough during the daytime.
I've weighed myself before bed and in the morning when I get up and can lose up to 3 lbs. overnight. I think it's all from my midnight trips.
