Is There a Market for a Classic Item, Currently Handmade; such as
Solid maple or birch baby teethers, finished to exacting tolerances with baby safe mineral oil or carnuba wax. Hand select the wood, organic or sustainable if possible, and finish down to some ridiculous high grit gunstock polish.

Custom clocks would do fine if you had a different movement than what all of the other clocks use. Think 31 day keywound, Nixie tube, etc...

If you go the battery powered route, the best movements are units powered by C batteries. It would be a shame to spend a lot of time and effort and then slap a jumpy quartz inside.

Small wooden race cars would generate more sales, but not make much use of your talents and abilities.

My MIL sells stained glass at craft shows and cleans up. Can't believe how much of her stuff women buy. Anyways, at the craft shows there are always a couple of old woodworkers with various crafts. I imagine they do alright though I'm sure it's more of a hobby for retired guys who just make whatever $ they can.

I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.
