No problem . Just make sure when you walk through the areas that they patrol that you don’t have any alcohol with you, that your wife or girlfriends head is covered and that you have nothing that indicates that you are of a different faith than islam.

Lights and sirens and cars that mimic NYPD units?

And how would NYTimes report it if the Baptist, Methodist, Catholics, Orthodox Jews, or Presbyterians formed their own patrols?

Back in the 90s, I was sent to NYC to manage the demolition of two 80+ year old Downstream oil & gas facilities in two different NYC boroughs. One was in a really rough Bronx neighborhood so they shutdown the jobsite everyday 2:45 PM and I was told not to be there past 3:00 PM because that's when the Teamsters go home. I inquired what Teamsters had to do with neighborhood safety, and was informed the local gang was afraid of the Teamsters. Now, I really curious. Turns out the local gang made the error in judgment in roughly carjacking a truck driven by a Teamster, and the Teamsters retaliated on the gang with chains and baseball bats. Apparently, the Teamsters got their point across.

It'd be very amusing to see the Muslim Community Patrol try to enforce Sharia law on a female Teamster.

Just gonna sit by and watch...

NYC, particularly Brooklyn is pretty unique with it's variety of racial and religious 'safety patrol groups'. The Jewish community has it's group Shomrim , there's also the Brooklyn Asian Safety Patrol. The Guardian Angels, formed in the 70's due to lax criminal enforcement by NYC DA office. All that said, something about a Muslim 'safety patrol' that rings hollow, particularly given the followers zeal and enthusiasm to the enforcement and punishment aspects of rule following.

Their vehicles and 'uniforms' should look nothing like the NYPD. Once again, NYC not actually dealign the problem but, instead ignoring in the name of 'community relations'

These things have a way of sorting themselves out.

Yup. Reminds me of a time when a guy named Rudy Giuliani cleaned up the town much to the dismay of democrats and their voter base. I say let the bloods and islamists fight it out and then mow down the winners.
