I thought this was kind of funny. Just how easy a short boxy wheel base rig rolled. The Steps are the Nemesis of many Toyota SUV's. Problem is a shitty line compounded with too much braking at the wrong spot. Almost always ends with a nap  You'll notice in the video I posted, the proper line was taken and everything worked out.___________________________ No thanks, I've already got a penguin. | |||

Ah, the quest to balance braking for control without going over the top. I've been there before, probably should have hooked up some line to help keep the back end down. The stuff in the roof rack probably didn't help either. That's fine until you get right on the edge like this and the CG shift puts you over the top. That is a much more difficult rock than you would think from the video. What's really scary is directly to the left of there is a 25+ foot drop into a river. Many vehicles have ended up down there. I don't want to do the steps without a sway bar disconnect these days. | |||

Absolutely. The videos I have on YouTube make it looks easy and people wonder why I’m going so slow. The FJ isn’t some building block with alphabet letters. They were pretty badass offroad vehicles.
