"Another way to determine the composition is to use radar. With planetary radar you send out a radio signal to the asteroid and look at what is reflected back. Useless to bring it to Earth - much more valuable to have metal in orbit - no idea how they'd bring it anywhere near Earth. (But its an excellent idea to identify sources of building materials.)

Since childhood I have been interested in space exploration and astronauts...but never more so than after reading this article.

If anyone has a space ship and a couple space suits for hire I've got a couple picks and shovels and a gold pan...I think we could crack this nugget. Cool
