John SteedIf you live near a Costco, their Anywhere Visa is a good one to have. In my area at least, their gas prices are the lowest around, plus you get 4% back. I pay it off every month so there is never a fee / never any interest.

I went through this fairly recently. Was dissatisfied with my Fidelity card that was only paying 1/2% true cash back, 1% if it went to my Fidelity brokerage account. This is what I ended up with:.....
Im wondering why you say that you are only getting 0.5% back instead of 2%.. with no annual fee.

Wondering that too as we're considering getting that Fidelity Visa to replace our B of A Alaska Visa.

No dice on the Amazon card. Dealing with them is why I am looking to replace a card in first place. I would rather not continue to do business with them. I will look into the others on my next day off. Thank you.
Out of curiosity, what exactly are the issues you have with Amazon or the Chase card. I'm impressed with their customer service myself.

ryan81986Do you travel at all? There are a lot of good travel rewards CCs out there. The Chase Sapphire card has good points, as does the Southwest Airlines Chase Visa. Both give you 50,000 points after you spend a certain amount of money. They do have a small annual fee. Although the SW card gives you points annually that makes up for the annual fee.
Also the Chase Freedom series give you cash back instead of points with no annual fee.
