I think I'll run over to HF this afternoon and pick up the Predator 1400 watt. 25% off makes it a pretty sweet deal. Retail today is $469. 25% off makes it $352.50

I really just want it for going out ham radio remote setup. This is light enough it's easy to carry and keep the LIFEPO battery charged up, no commercial power for this endeavor.

Ironially, the store is pushing me to buy the extended warranty. The 1 year extended warranty is $129, the 2 year is $159

I rarely buy extended warranties, and for something that only costs $459 retail, the ratio of price is outrageous, I think.

Sales guy says I can decline the extended warranty, and I have 30 days to change my mind.


BTW the standard warranty is only 90 days. Obviously, they LOVE selling the extended warranty.
