There should be lasting ramifications for Pelosi tearing up the State Of The Union (SOTU) speech.
From here-on-out whenever a Republican President is delivering a SOTU speech and the Speaker of the House is a Democrat (Socialist) the speech should be provided as laminated pages in a binder which prohibits removal of individual pages.
No more fiddling around with individual pages and no more tearing up of the SOTU speech.
Laminate, laminate, laminate as a reminder of the petulant Democratic Speakers action.

Apparently, what Speaker Pelosi did is actually a crime, with serious penalties:
(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.
It's not as if she can deny doing it--the whole country saw her do it on TV.

What is the sequence of this? I read a claim that Pelosi started things by not properly introducing the President. The President then handed over the speech. Then came the handshake. The other articles have the sequence as hand over the speech, then the handshake, then Pelosi introducing the President. Last, Did the President and VP Pence shake hands? What’s the tradition?
