Great customer service from ... Wendy's!
Around 8:30-ish PM I ordered a meal in the drive-through. I gave the guy my credit card, he gave me my order, and I stupidly drove away before he could give me my card back. He flagged me down - after running a good 100 yards, and in 16° weather - in the adjacent side street a few seconds before the light turned green to turn on to the main street and handed me my card with the receipt wrapped around it. A few seconds more and he'd have missed me and I'd have driven off without it, and who knows when I'd have discovered it missing. He - whoever he was, I was unable to catch his name - deserves a good word put in for him. And I feel foolish for being so blasted absent-minded.

The universe will not forget what he did.

Such actions will drive him to push through the gauntlet of opposition in life.

I wish him easier passage.

Do the right thing, no matter the payment.

That’s a perfect example of going above and beyond. I would do what drill sgt suggests above. Of course, find out his name first.

I had a fast food experience for the ages tonight too.

Drive through just like you…

I pulled up and there was a handwritten note on the menu board.

NO FRIES
NO CURLY FRIES
NO COKE
And a few other things.

I have never seen such a thing at a Jack in the box.

I thought OK I can order around this, no big deal.

Get home and bite into my burger……NO MEAT PATTY. Just the produce.

Then my cousin opens up his burger and you guessed it, NO MEAT!!!

I was going to let it go but when both burgers were the same I just couldn’t let it slide.

Back I went and got a couple new burgers.

The shift boss brought out the young cook and I told him to stop smoking dope before his shift.

What do you expect from someone who’s only getting paid $20.00 an hour.

Turns out the restaurant just got sold to a new owner. He’s got his work cut out for him to right the ship.

A Panera did something similar.

On the menu was a bbq chicken sandwich with cheese. Placed my carryout order,no cheese.

Get to the car on my way back to work. Suddenly a gut feeling to look at my order, the order tag said “no cheese, no chicken”. I thought “Nobody could be that dumb”, I was wrong. Yep, bread, barbecue sauce, that’s all.

Some years ago I ordered Arby's at the drive through. Got my order and headed back to my office about a mile away. I ate Atby's often through the years, and was very familiar with the staff there.
When I walked back into my office, my phone intercom rang. Vickie up front said Shelly just dropped off my lunch. I looked at my sack in my hand and say "what lunch?" I go up front and get the sack Shelly brought. Turns out Shelly realized they gave me the wrong sack. Shelly herself grabbed my sack and delivered it to my work.

Aside from the window cashier doing a good job and going to extra distance to return your card, this is why I never pay for a fast food order with plastic. I always use cash, unless I retain total control of my card at the swipe machine. Too many opportunities to get things wrong with a card.

Just another reason I never use the drive thru. I can go in, get my food, check and make sure everything is right, go back out and the same people are still waiting in the drive thru line.

80% of the time our three Wendy's get it right

I keep one dollar coins and $2.00 bills in the car .

When it's hot, fast and perfect, I drive back through and give them a tip .

They are appreciative albeit somewhat confused

Return to the location. Almost all will have a contact number of the franchise owner posted at the drive in window or inside. Definitely something I would report as too many fast food workers get abused and not recognized. They will be able to cross reference the schedule to figure out who it was working
