Looking at the Greenworks Pro 60v electric outdoor equipment.
I will need the:

Mower
Trimmer
Blower
Chainsaw

60v seems like the happy median.
Lowe’s currently has the blower kit on sale for $150. I am fed up with raking and will get the blower now and watch for more sales on the tools over the winter to have them all by spring.
There are some 80v options out there too but the tools especially the chainsaw seem to start to get a bit cumbersome.

I got a WORX two-piece combination for $179 -- 56 volt blower and trimmer, with charger and two batteries.

The trimmer rotates 90 degrees so it can be used as an edger.

It was on eBay, sold directly by WORX. Open box, but new.

For mower, I went with the 56 vold EGo. $499 at Home Depot for the self-propelled, or save a hundred bucks if you want push only. They gave me a 10% discount for showing my Driver License with the V veteran designator.

I've used the 56V blower to blow off 4000 sq foot of pavers. Granted it was mostly small leaves and such on the pavers. But, the thing is impressive and about 90% as powerful as my Hitachi gas blower without as much noise and less weight. Never did I ever have the battery go dead. Even when it was not fully charged. For a normal sized house on a 8000-10,0000 sq foot city lot, I can see the battery powered tools as a better choice than gas ones, these days. No need to have to go buy gas, nor worry about it going bad, nor gas issues with the equipment.

I have the ego 56V on one charge I can edge the whole yard and still have power left to blow off the sidewalks, garage, porch, drive and street.

Electric is the way to go, wouldn't go back to gas trimmers, even if I had a larger area I'd just buy a couple of extra batteries...

Ego is on the list too.
Home Depot has their Ego blower with 2.5ah battery and charger for 99 but is currently out of stock online and in store.
If that becomes available my choice will be a bit easier.

For my needs a think the 56-60v range will be fine.

The 80v are a bit big especially the chainsaw. I don’t have a need for an 18” bar and don’t actually want one that big. Want smaller since it will mainly be used when I am off-roading and some things need to be cut from the trail.

Though that Worx package is tempting at $189 blower, trimmer, 2 batteries and charger open box with 3 year warranty.

I have a Ryobi 40v blower. Had the trimmer and mower but gave those away to a friend when I moved to AZ.
The mower was great. Trimmer was awesome, but as with all trimmers the twine was a nasty mean bitch.
The blower is wayyyyy underpowered, depending on climate. In Washington, it was a worthless piece of crap. I could kick leaves farther. It did do a great job of turning a fire pit into a glass and steel forge. Smile
In AZ everything is dry and it works great.

I have a green works electric pressure washer. It works good for light stuff. Don’t want to peel pain, washing the truck and Razor... want to clean concrete? One square inch per second. Pack a lunch.

So the 60v lawn care stuff, probably pretty decent. It’ll never compete with a gas powered Stihl. But it’ll probably suit your needs just fine.

Seriously though, for $150 for the blower kit... Get a Stihl BR350 backpack blower. It’s about twice he cost. And it’ll do five times the job.

I don’t have five times the job to do. Sure wish I did but the house is just a little measly 1/4 acre. I have Stihl stuff down at the cabin.

I ended up with a NEW 56v Ego.
The reviews across the board were the best for all the tools I plan on getting as I don’t want separate battery families.

The Egos have a 5 year warranty on the tool and 3 years on the battery.
Seems pretty solid.

I have the Greenworks 60v string edger and blower and it works for my yard. We have a 9,000sf corner lot with little to no trees so it does not take long to do my yard. The battery still says 3/4 full when I’m done.

The blower is very powerful and I really like the boost feature. The string trimmer? It works but I feel it goes thru string pretty fast. Also, the bump auto feed tends to stick so I have to take alert the trimmer head more than I was expecting.

I was thinking about getting the chainsaw for when we are out on our RZR but our local outfitters store had a BOGO sale on Dewalt tools and ended up with a 12”, 20v chain saw instead.

EGO's have worked fine for me and they replaced one battery under warranty when it failed at just over 3 years.

If you have a job that takes a lot longer like trimming shrubs the ability to use multiple batteries is nice.

Trimmer is next on my list, I can cut out the lawn guy once I get that in the garage.

So as a preface I have 21 mature Premier Pear trees. Premier Pears have a ridiculously thick and waxy leaf that does not fall until late November early December where as the Silver Maple up front is bare usually by the first week of November.

Raking the back yard was literally an all day affair if not a day and a half.

We have had a bunch of rain and sleet the past few days. So I am blowing at the worst time. Leaves are already thick and heavy from the start but they are still pretty wet.

Ego Claims 75 minute run time on the 2.5ah battery. I would say that is at the lowest speed.
The lowest speed is certainly rivaled by my wife’s high end hair dryer.

Using the Highest speed (without the turbo boost) it moved the leaves adequately but it is quite blustery today so I was working with the wind redistributing the leaves a bit.

Using the Turbo boost moved the leaves very well. Though the battery was wiped in 20 minutes.
I was able to do a quarter of the yard.

So next year when I have (2) 5ah and (2) 2.5ah batteries I’ll knock this out in just under 2 hours. This year I have stuck having to have to charge the battery.

Beancooker is correct. I would be much more suited with a Stihl backpack but can’t justify the added cost to only use it once a year.

This Ego will be absolutely perfect for blowing off sidewalks and the drive after mowing. It will also knock out my front yard with ease that just has one huge silver maple.

So overall I am quite impressed with the thing knowing I am pushing it to the limits with my lead situation.

Technique will be huge too. I am still learning patterns and control with it. Once I get that down I should get a bit quicker.
I have a small little drainage ditch that I am blowing all the leaves into which helps from them blowing out then will scoop them from there.

I have two small gripes. There is a very noticeable lag from once you pull the trigger until the thing really starts moving air. Also once you are off the trigger it takes a bit to wind down so you have to plan accordingly.

I also wish it had a trigger lock to you don’t have to hold it the whole time.

Overall pretty pleased.
Certainly better than mixing gas and oil, winterizing the thing and the added noise.
This thing is pretty quiet.
