WSJ, Monday mar 23, pA14 "Cracker Jack Economics" When I find a word I do not know, I look it up (thanks be for the Internet). Turns out that it refers to loaning money at greater than the going interest rate, especially by Central Banks. Good article, by the way. The same edition features stories about the Democrats putting a halt to the passage of immediate relief to every adult of a $1200 direct payment. I would like to say that stopping relief to all working people in a time of crisis is inconceivable - wrong! It is my sincere wish that when it comes time to vote for any position, including dog catcher, that every working person that could not or had difficulty paying the mortgage, car payment etc. remembers that the Dims stopped the payments. These are extraordinary times and require extraordinary measures... No quarter .308/.223 | ||
