I want to get off msft outlook. I don't need calendar, email and other functions. However, I have a bunch of notes that I've taken over the years and need some help / recommendations. I just need a place to save notes / tidbits of information - perhaps categorize them.

1) what windows or apple app do you recommend to be used for stuff like outlook notes? I guess OneNote is an option. Any others? Anything that's free or cheap that comes w/ windows or macos when i buy a new PC?

2) how do i move my notes from outlook to these recommended software?
