OttoSigAre Malkoff heads worth it?
Got a spare body and tail cap so thinking about getting a head to put on the Banshee.
I don’t want IR on the gun so this will be JUST white light.

pedropcolaI think so. I especially love the maglite heads that turn a great nightstick into an equally good flashlight. It’s weird. The heads are so efficient that it is brighter AND the batteries last longer. It’s the proverbial free lunch.
I have also swapped out Surefire heads. Same basic story. Buy with confidence.

10X-ShooterAbsolutely. I added one to an old Surefire E1B with a long throw and it was worth making this flashlight useful again.

flesheatingvirusA Malkoff light has been my daily carry for years. I am very satisfied with it and would not hesitate to purchase another.

bertoI retrofitted a Surefire P6 to make it useful again. Could have played roulette with different Chinese bulbs but did a little research and figured I'd save myself the aggravation and spend a little bit more for a guaranteed win. Vey happy with the result. The handwritten thank you on the receipt was a nice touch.

RogueJSKDefinitely. Stand-up company who offers great options to breathe new life back into old (or spare) flashlight bodies and make them useful again.

mark123You don’t need another yes, but yes.

kr350psdI think they are, I put one on a old Surefire M3 Combat Light that just ate batteries. More light, less batteries. What's not to like.

mdblantonYes. Great company and very well made products.

BigNCYes. I have a spreadsheet for my Malkoff heads, bodies and drop-ins. I have tried more expensive and more “modern” UI stuff and kept going back to Malkoff. I have Surefire body legos as well as malkoff body legoes. I can go from a run for days single cell emergency light to hundreds of yards away for hours. Usually carry some assembled parts and drop-ins from group buys as my “CCW only use for emergency” light and rotate some of the cheap aaa and aa or 123 twisty lights as a user for navigation and dropped items finding.

Love Malkoff.
ETA- but all my grab and go and around the house (rural acreage) lights are malkoff….

I did the same as berto. I’ve been very pleased with the purchase.
I wanted a dual AA battery flashlight as my daily “go to” non-tactical flashlight and bought from Malkoff. I’ve been very pleased with that purchase as well.

Ronin101I have an e2 and a e2d that could use these but I have a hard time paying a hundred bucks for 450 lumens. when I can get this for the same price.

rduckworI had no idea they even existed until I was ROing a match in their home town. I won one as a door prize. Someone ask what I won and I said a "cheap Chinese flashlight". The guy said why don't you ask the guy sitting next to you, he built that flashlight. Embarassment and enlightenment followed.
