Update on Fitbit. back to a step counter that monitors blood pressure/oxy. levels, etc.
Another ask about a simple stepcounter with maybe a few other features. I don't need a mega tech device. More of a pedometer than anything else. If it did BP and Oxy level that would be a plus. Can I get something good for $50-$100? Thanks guys and gals. This message has been edited. Last edited by: old rugged cross,

If you have a smart watch, you might already have that capability baked-in. Of course, it's not going to be in the same league as a dedicated device, but maybe good enough.

My Apple Watch Ultra does all of that and a lot more, but not in your price range. I bought it used, from a SIGforum member, for $300.

I have a wearable monitor that allegedly does all this. It handles heart rate and SAO2 well and counts steps. It fails miserably at B/P. Frankly, I don't see how any device can measure B/P with a couple of lasers while on your wrist.
If anyone has the answer, please enlighten me.

I just ordered a fitbit inspire 3 for $99 to my door from Best Buy. I know it is old tech. but that suits me fine. I see it has been a pretty reliable unit from what I can tell. Hope it is not a $100 down the drain
Thanks guys.

Update For anyone interested I did get the Fitbit inspire 3. Found one through best buy for $99 shipped to the house. The app was pretty easy to set up on the Iphone. The unit itself is fairly small. The initial set up/start up was pretty easy as well. I have had it on my wrist for a couple of days. I like it already. Pretty user friendly. Date and time, steps/miles. heart bpm, tracks hours slept, and a few other things. It does not monitor BP though. I am still learning. Good battery life. So far I am impressed. And honestly I don't really like stuff like this.

My wife went through 4 Fitbits, replaced either under warranty or extended warranty.
She bought an Apple Watch, and it lasted for years.
