Aw, sad news. I always enjoyed watching Jim Nabors.

He did have a beautiful voice. Or, to quote Sheriff Andy, Gomer certainly had a high roof to his mouth.

I believe this is the first Mayberry episode we hear Nabors sing (around the 10:20 mark).
