Update. I left photobucket ages ago. No wonder they can't find my account. I am currently using postimages which I realized when I read remshooter's post. Mirabile dictu, my login works just fine for that.

Thanks all for your help and suggestions, I apologize for wasting your time.

A

Who is good. These guys were my second host for pictures, and now they have been bought out and have lost my account.

Recovery email doesn't work, recover account doesn't work, and when I finally find my ZIP code from four moves ago, it tells me I have done too many attempts and now have to try again tomorrow.

Imageshack is great. Simple, streamlined interface. Plenty of storage and bandwidth. No shenanigans. And only $38/year for their basic membership.

Well worth the ~$3/month.

Sounds like, in addition to an image host, you might be in the market for a good, secure password manager.

And ImageShack supports avatars.

You upload full resolution images. When you post you can specify the appropriate pixel dimensions.

Serious about crackers.
