So my little pickup camper build design is complete and construction is commencing now. It will have a flat roof. The builder wants to use Henry's tropi-cool 100% silicone white roll on material which i am good with. Seems like a quality material. My question is putting it on a lightly sanded plywood directly. Which I am not good with. Thinking that maybe nailing down a rolled asphalt roofing first and then putting the Henry's on that, thoughts? Thanks guys. Check out AZ EXPERT on YouTube. He has replaced many RV roofs and shows in detail the do's and dont's of the job along with what materials and adhesives to use and to properly apply those materials. He just recently went through doing 2 Winnebago Motorhome roofs that the owners had paid to replace but the techs who did the job screwed them both up. | |||
