FIB’s? I’m gonna guess you mean Bastard from the “B”.
I’m going to challenge your Wisconsin residency sir; I believe the proper acronym is FISH
(*ucking Illinois *hit Head’s)! Smile

Yes my car has turn signals. It was originally purchased in WI., and yes I use them religiously. As to other aspects of driving, I will invoke the 5th.

My loan and insurance money finally cleared and I picked up the car last night. I have to say I am still pleased with the experience. They did their due diligence and offered me an extended warranty; One simple “No, thank you” was all I needed and the finance guy said check here to decline and sign. There was no trying to get me to use their financing, and they never demanded to run a credit check regardless. I’m impressed and will keep an eye on their inventory for when I’m ready to get my youngest kid a car.

First, thanks for FISH! That's right up there with touron. Second, I'm most definitely NOT a Cheesehead although I did learn a very cool song about Da Bears from some cheeseheads who camped next to me in the Soo. I was born in MI, love the weather - hate the politics - haven't found anyplace that motivates me to pack up.

Went with my daughter and her boyfriend to a chevy dealership back in march. high pressure tactics and they even told him to just use my daughter as a cosigner and to abandon his current car somewhere and default on the old loan after he got a car from them.

when i bought my daughter a new car when she turned 18, i remembered that subaru treated me well so I called up there and said i want to look at this car in transport for my daughter. saleslady called when it came in. we showed up. no trade in. she liked the car. went to the finance guy, i said give me the vin so i can have my sister get the insurance. no extended warranties, no gap, nothing. i am putting this much down, give me your best rate and if it's better than my credit union, i will go with them. we went with them.

when i got rid of my bmw convertible, i went to an alfa dealership to look at their suvs. but they had a 2 yr old bmw suv with 3800 miles on it (covid times) that they just got in and i bought that. put 70k miles on it and remembered how well they treated me. called the same salesman and said i want this specific giulia on the lot. he said ok same as before, i will let the new finance guy know what you're about.

we're actually going back to subaru soon to get my daughter a new car (subaru offered her $10k for her car with 68k miles, i paid $19.9k for it back in 2020), her boyfriend a new car and my son just turned 18 so i'll buy him a new car. my daughter will be paying for her own car this time.
