Drove from Columbus to Kearney, NE and back last weekend. Out I-70 to I-74, stayed in Davenport, IA, then out I-80 through Omaha to Kearney. With a stop at the SAC Museum outside of Omaha.

So I played Wild Horse Golf Club in Gothenburg, NE. Top 100 public courses in the country. Here is a drone video with all 18 holes and some corny YouTube free of use music.

I played another course called Awarii Dunes about 10 miles south of Kearney, NE. Really neat course, and should not be missed also.

Here is the drone video of all 18 holes.

I did that a few years back to play Pebble Beach. I did attend a conference whilst down there so I could write off the trip, but it was primarily to play Pebble.

Well worth the trip.

Sounds like a ton of fun. It must not video very good because I can’t imagine that flat of a course in that condition would be top 100.

It’s just right on the amount of elevation. It shows in the videos.

The pot bunkers look nasty. They more than make up for the lack of elevation.

If you want a great golf destination to travel to, come to Spokane. 2 top 100 courses within 40 mins. driving time and 16 more within 30 mins. all of which are hilly. The word is getting out so you might want to get tee times in advance.

I completely understand this, as you might expect from a guy with a swing coach.

Looks like a nice place to play, I love golf trips. It would be awesome to play that private Sand Hills course designed by Coore and Crenshaw.
