I readily admit I stink at searching here, but I am almost certain we had a thread, in Pistols I think, about carrying a firearm with the mag loaded one down, i.e. a 15 round mag, loaded with only 14. I can't locate it.

Anyone recall that or was it somewhere else or, perhaps, in one of my dreams?

I think it all started in Vietnam when the M-16's were downloaded to 17 or 18 rds for better feeding.
