p08Chicago set to break an old record
Sitting at 800 right now, blew past last years number early. Now just 9 more to break the record set in 2016 of 808. I'm gonna guess it will be right at 223 for this year.

I also handled #801 at 34oo W 61st Street about 10:30pm... He aint dead just yet, but he will be soon.
I keep hearing that the paper car, the lead Detective and the District Commander for #800 get a toaster oven from the Mayor on Monday Morning

M1GarandyCook County (which contains Chicago) is up over 1,000 murders for the first time since 1994. It appears the County record is 1,229 set in 1991.

CWB Chicago. They had a section detailing around 30-40 cases (it might be more now) where a murder suspect was released with no bond, low bond or electronic monitoring and almost immediately went out and committed a murder.
