I have my executive and merit board interviews and oral assessment next week. It’s a point system and none are pass/fail. There are two immediate lieutenant open positions. If I make the top two of the list I’ll be promoted immediately.

I will accept the promotion if offered. We’ll see what next week holds.

Well, sheriff's executive and merit board interviews here in a few hours. Here goes nothing! I'm the last one since I scored the lowest on the written test. But, I'm senior guy. But, seniority only counts for 10 points. Sheriff's executive board interview is 30 points and merit board is 20 points.

Thank you! I think both interviews went pretty well. Better than I thought they would. Now, I just have the assessment friday after next.
