The vinyl on my tonneau cover is coming apart, peeling cracking on seams etc.
I have ordered the material, and my question is what adhesive do I use to install the new material? My son claims the 3M spray will not hold up and that I should use something I apply by a brush.
The roll up cover has aluminum that the vinyl will adhere to.

Any suggestions on an adhesive?

I can confirm that in my experience spray adhesive (at least the brands I have tried) won't do what you want.

Not sure how contact cement would fare.
