Lightweight summer sweater
If a pullover is what you’re after, the 5.11 PT-R Catalyst might be worth a look.

I bought one this past spring to take on an overnight hunt. It’s lightweight, non-bulky, and reasonably warm (for calm 55-degree nights). It’s got the thumbhole sleeves, which I a) didn’t realize when I bought it and b) thought were a little weird when I noticed them and c) actually like of liked when being out one cooler-than-expected night.

Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around.

Thanks smiling, cloister, and vthoky, those all look like good options. I have a Columbia lightweight zip fleece on order and I'll see how that is before buying a second one. I want two, one to leave in each vehicle.

If you're set on a sweater I would go with a nice merino wool blend, or cashmere if you want to spend a little more. So much more comfortable than cotton, imo.
A cardigan like this: https://bonobos.com/products/i...ue%20boucle%20cotton
or a simple crewneck pullover: https://bonobos.com/products/w...eater?color=bordeaux

Or might I suggest a shirt-jac like this:

Or a casual blazer like this (I have two of these, one in navy, one tan, and wear the heck out of them): https://bonobos.com/products/j...color=washed%20olive

There ain't much difference in the man I want to be and the man that I really am.

Actually that cotton one might work well. I had something similar for years and it finally wore out. Thanks!
