It was raining pretty hard here in Iceland. We knew when we booked the trip that the probability was <10% we would see it due to the typical August weather, but several other bucket list items were accomplished. Plus we saw the last eclipse in 2024, so this one would have been a nice bonus but not the main reason for the trip.
