Sorry, no. I am well aware that the British find it hilarious for a man to dress up in women's clothing. Tell me- are these young girls putting on a play? Or are you suggesting that in day-to-day life in England it is perfectly normal for men to wear skirts? Not kilts, skirts. Women's clothing.

To me, the more alarming part of this is that some of you think this is cute and normal.

Since no one mentioned it thus far, I wonder how many of these boys opted to go full on 'commando' with their skirt? Wonder how that messed with the dress code?

Was one of the groomsmen in a Scottish themed wedding many years ago and we all had to wear kilts. And yes, there was much alcohol involved both before, during, and after.

I don't think it's normal in the sense of male/female roles, however it was an interesting idea and a banding of the minds to bring about a change to protocol that supposedly the school management was apparently unwilling to accommodate a reasonable request through normal channels.

If it was a bunch of kid dressing up in skirts to protest boys not being able to wear skirts it'd present some challenges, but a nice civil protest against the man, or woman in charge is nothing new... lol..

I am a Brit, these kids are just putting 2 fingers up.to the Headmaster or mistress, got themselves organised, and got most of the boys at the school to do it, good on them, stupid school rules, I remember being told I couldn't wear long trousers in the Winter, until I became a 4th yr junior (5th grade), no school buses, or Mother driving you to school, froze your nuts off in Dec to March.

Putting up 2 fingers, means F you in the UK.
