Mass. has an impossible standard: The prosecution had to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that she was sane, at the time of the murders.
That's backwards but it's the law, there.

She'll never be convicted.

Toss this one out to your liberal friends: If hormones caused Lindsay Clancy to murder her children and thus she should be found not guilty, then testosterone causes rape and no man should ever be found guilty of rape going forward.

^^^ So the T-shirts saying variations of "Don't mess with me, I have PMS and a gun" aren't playful hyperbole? Perhaps that question should be added to the 4473.

PMS, PPD (post-partum depression) and other hormonal changes certainly do exist, but they don't override even good sense, let alone conscience. It took premeditation to distract and deceive the husband, to say nothing of the children's manner of death (I can't even say it). That is not "suddenly snapping".
