Musk's fears about telling everything he's found out
'veritas non verba magistri' March 07, 2025, 07:08 PM
92fstechJust finished listening to that entire interview today. I don't blame him, I'd be scared too. They're evil people, and he's sticking his hand in their wallet.
It would be national catastrophe if we lose this man right as he's getting so close to achieving positive change.

TMatsI listened to the entire interview as well. There’s reason to be cautious, witness the two attempts on the President’s life.
Threatening the money and power of many entrenched people. They’ll won’t go down easily, but they
will go down.

k5blazerHasn’t Musk always felt he had a target on his back? I seem to recall him saying that in Ashlee Vance’s 2015 book. He has been upsetting apple carts for a long time.

doublesharpTim Burchett, rep T, impresses hell out of me. Hope this link from X works because it's a good impromptu interview.

AglifterThere are also jury pool issues, etc.
Usually, when the prosecution (or any other litigator) is going to the media, it’s because their case has problems.
A bigger issue is how do we prosecute the number of people involved?
A prison colony in the Article circle somewhere takes care of incarcerating them, but there’s going to be a LOT of trials of the kinds of people who enjoy grand standing and can afford counsel.

justjoeWhat puzzles me is, these evil people already know that he has the goods on them. His life is already at the highest level of danger. Can't go any higher. They are not going to wait for him to release the information on them before they assassinate him.
Like Trump, he has given up a life of safety, comfort, and unbelievable luxury. I admire them and feel for them.
Trump got up with blood on his face and shook his fist.
I know it is easy for me to say, but at this point I think Musk might as well pray for a miracle, and throw caution to the wind.

oddball^^^^^^^^^^
Five years ago or so, Musk owned a bunch of mansions in Bel Air and other wealthy communities but sold them all, except for a Bay Area mansion for events.
As of late last year, he was living in a small $50,000 ranch-style house in Texas, very unusual for the wealthiest man in the world, but I remember him saying several years ago that he wanted to get rid of much of his material possessions and concentrate on work. I would imagine his small house would present security problems now, his life has changed drastically in the last couple of months.

220-9erBeing able to demonstrate the legitimacy of the prosecutions is very important. We don't need this looking anything a political witch hunt.
They should use the approach that was successful in breaking up organized crime. Start with those at the lower level and getting them to flip by testifying against higher ups. That way it would be people of their own political persuasion making the accusations.
This also avoids the time, effort, money to have jury trials in many cases.
As for Musk, I suspect there is already enough corruption uncovered to keep the DOJ busy for the next 4-8 years if they follow through. Even if he went away for any reason.

konata88Isn’t Musk capable of being a threat as well? Even in the event of an untimely death, he seems like he would have the means for a contingency plan to take whatever retribution he saw fit. Would this not lead to a detente or cold war of sorts? Mutually assured destruction ?

lastmanstandingMaybe Musk is being dramatic with Joe Rogan because Joe Rogan is dramatic? I don't know. But what's the point then of discovering the corruption and then basically saying if I told you I'd get killed so that's where this is going to end, I'm not pushing forward any further? I thought the entire point of Musk and Trump was to cut out the waste and root out the deep state and corruption.
So we are going to skim the surface and leave the roots intact because Musk thinks he's going to get killed? Doesn't add up. Musk has got Soros money it could just as easily work the other way if that's where it's at.

12131^^^ Thank you for writing what's on my mind. Watching that brief clip was enough for me. I like the guy, but my eyes rolled back pretty deep on that one.

I think what he was getting at is that looking into criminal financial moves is dangerous but exposing rich pedophiles is a completely different thing.
Criminal financial moves can be overlooked by friends and family but if you’re a proven pedophile there’s no coming back from it, your life is rightfully over so they will be much more desperate and in turn dangerous.
I think that’s what happened to Pam Bondi. Someone got to her and filled her in on what was going to happen to her if she exposed the rich pedo’s.
There was a guy on Rogan that went into it pretty good but I didn’t have time to watch all of it.

I could be wrong but I read him as saying he isn't going to spill the beans on the Joe Rogan show. I didn't read him as saying he isn't going to follow through.
