| quote: Another rough week. It's been 3-1/2 weeks since my last infusion (of which there's only been two) and my immune system is only half recovered, even after a bone marrow booster shot. Still in semi-quarantine.
Tuesday is another blood test to determine if we can proceed with third treatment. If not,...?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This is not unusual. They want you cancer free not dead. To simplify things, chemo kills fast growing cells, that is why there is hair loss and problems with your nails. The chemo drugs are still in your system so you are proceeding with your treatment. I know what you are going through. |

Lost

| Still feeling mostly OK, just a little tingling in my fingers and mild cramping in my hands. Some early signs of nausea. Tomorrow will probably be the same, maybe late in the day some side effects will start in. Day 3 (Saturday) is usually when it all hits. They tell me I'm protected for a few days by the steroids and other palliatives they inject at the time of infusion. |
