This past Tuesday I had a 5mm mass removed endoscopically from my lower esophagus. Biospy confirmed today that although the original mass was completely removed, it had already spread to underlying tissue.

They want to do a PET scan to determine how extensive it is. And then it's the usual cancer therapy route.

I once slipped the noose on skin cancer a few years back. I firmly believe that a prayer request (on a Christian forum I used to be on) had a role in reversing the biopsy results. So, if any of you kind folks would be so good to remember kkina in your prayers, it would be very appreciated.

I am so sorry to hear. I am not a really religious man, but I do believe in angels and energy. I will be sending you positive thoughts and healing energy.

Prayers sent.

My father lost the battle with esophageal cancer 8 years back - not that any cancer is a walk in the park, but esophageal is a nasty bitch.
