Rey HRHWhere or how are you guys seeing these? I get affected by large embedded pictures on my iPhone but I've never had problems with avatars on either my iPhone, Samsung tablet, Google pixel tablet, or laptop.

BeancookerRey, it doesn’t affect me much, but Dave’s ring starts out HUGE on my screen, then goes back to avatar sizes. It only happens when they are the thread starter, or at least that’s the only time I notice it.
If it didn’t go away right away, it would make browsing the thread really unenjoyable.
Not sure why they start out huge then resize.

It see it when I have a really slow internet connection, say under 10mbps.

casDave's opens then quickly goes to size. This one was rather strange, I opened the page then went to do things on the other screen. The whole time I did it was full size on the screen. I didn't even realize it was an avatar, I was puzzled why he'd posted the photo since it was unrelated to the thread, but I was busy on the other screen. Then I noticed the next was squished off to one side? I went back to it, scrolled it up and down a few times, then it finally shrunk down to avatar size and things went back to where they should be. Stay large for maybe a minute? Odd.
