In last night's Democratic Debate [7/30/2019], Elizabeth was asked to differentiate herself from Bernie Sanders.
Her answer in part was that Bernie was a Socialist whereas she was a Capitalist.
In her VERY NEXT BREATH, she started her usual rant about how Wall Street and American Corporations were destroying the county and that she would tax the bejesus out of them, etc. etc.
Reality Check Liz:.......
A. You have absolutely no clue what a Capitalist is.
B. You for 100% certain are not one. Not even a little bit. Not even close.

fpuhanWhile out on my run this morning, I was listening to snippets from last night's "debate." I got to thinking of my high school experience (my 50th reunion is this year, so things have likely changed). There used to be "debate clubs" and a "debating society." The whole key was that when assigned to a debate, you had to take a convincing position even if you didn't personally believe in it.
Now, I think some of the moonbats on stage do actually believe the ludicrous positions they've taken, but I think others are simply attempting to score points, and have no intention of actually following through in the unlikely event they get elected.
You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

jhe888I guess she is a capitalist because she doesn't advocate for state ownership of the means of production. Bernie isn't really a socialist either, in the strictest sense of the word.
But she isn't a very free-market capitalist.
Both she and Bernie are some sort of Democratic socialists, but at least Bernie admits it. You do have to admire that aspect of him - he tells you, straight out, what he believes.
