Senator Al Franken of Minnesota has written a letter to Apple with a list of questions about the new Face ID on iPhones. One of his concerns is that it may make the iPhone racist. https://www.scribd.com/documen...affiliate#from_embed

Just when you think liberal stupidity can't get any worse, that liberal IQ's and common sense can't fall below zero, Franken comes up with this. Roll Eyes

I would be surprised if Apple does anything but politely tell him to F*&^ off. Apple is fanatical about keeping how their product works and process data to themselves.

I'm concerned that Senator Al Franken of Minnesota managed to steal a Senate seat by voter fraud....

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

How is it that the United States of America, home of more genuinely genius intellects than any other nation on earth ever has been, or is likely to be, can still produce total f*ckwits like this guy?

I'm really puzzled.

Opposite ends of the bell curve. What's truly amazing is that dipshits continue to get elected.

There is no way that the comedian actually said or wrote all these words. He simply cannot have these legal concerns. These are the words of a trained social engineer.

I don't know. I disagree with some of the sentiments expressed here.

After all, how do we know it was actually Al Franken? I mean, all those Dems look and sound alike, don't they?

Another day another another idiotic statement from a leftist. Hardly surprising someone from a party obsessed over race makes allegations of racism. Yawn. The more they yell racist the more it loses its meaning.

Quickly scanning the letter, it appears Franken is saying there is evidence to suggest that when testing was done for facial recognition software, the sample of blacks was too small to cover all the variations of their faces. Silly pandering from an imbecile who by all rights should be dealing with drunken hecklers in small comedy clubs in the twilight of his lackluster comedy career.

Is he a consumer advocate now? Why does he think Apple has any obligation to address his concerns. If Franken is worried about how the phone will perform, maybe he should just buy a Samsung and shut the hell up.

So here is a thought, as Artificial Intelligence is further developed, are we going to see a Samsung phone calling an Apple phone a racist? Then maybe we will have to worry about our smart toasters not making toast dark enough, or maybe only making light toast 50% of the time just to keep things equal otherwise risk being racist.

So true. Arizona has McCain and Flake as example.

The Twin Cities, and other very large Metros got him elected. The red part of the state did not. So, no, 'we', did not elect him. And we are offended by his existence (in representing us). Our state is cut in half on Dems and Reps.

It is unfair and misinformed to lump all Minnesotans into the same bucket.

My take on this is:

Hi! I'm Al Franken, I'm going to be running for President of the United States in 2020, because it looks like there'll be no competition. To show false concern for the nitwits that will be buying your horribly expensive product, I'm making this show of concern on their behalf based on media articles written by people who know even less about this topic than I do. I'm asking these vague questions, because I don't have any clue as to why any of this would be important, but it looks like a good opportunity to get my name and concerns in front of millions of potential voters. You could help me out with this by responding to this document, which is on government stationary, so that I can continue to milk this cow for votes. Also please deliver a new, top of the line, example to my office as expeditiously as possible, so that I can have it evaluated as suitable for government use.
