Suck it, Bud! _________________________________________________________________________ “A man’s treatment of a dog is no indication of the man’s nature, but his treatment of a cat is. It is the crucial test. None but the humane treat a cat well.” -- Mark Twain, 1902

They know if they poke their head up, it's going to get stomped on, but hey, like they said, this is no big deal. It was just one can and one campaign and they didn't know anything about it, and 'murica and so forth. Bud Light, Budweiser haven't tweeted in over a month as backlash over transgender influencer continues

Bud Light has certainly achieved infamy. Parent company Anheiser-Busch in turn is now infamous. The Clydesdales?!? C’mon, what’d they do to anybody? _______________________________________________________ despite them

This normally wouldn't concern me as I drink local craft beer. Until yesterday that is, I did brats and I always start them in a beer bath w/ what I refer to as 'cooking beer". Grabbed a tall can of Coors light and noticed there weren't many left. Plenty of Bud singles were available.

I started college in marketing and quickly moved to computer science (data processing in those days). My second class of a beginning marketing series mentioned in chapter 1: DON'T GET POLITICAL in ad campaigns. It was like the law of gravity, no exceptions. I'm not sure why really smart people get political. Well actually I do cuz they aint all that smart.

Wandered through the beer aisle yesterday at Winco. One case of Bud missing, full stocked on Bud Light. They didn't even stock Miller Light. Coors Light was almost gone. PBR was wiped out. ______________________________________________ Carthago delenda est

I love how these smug, non-apologetic assholes have been reduced to begging and paying people to buy their so-called beer. LOL

OK, it wasn't me but, others were picking up on that.... That ad comes across as publicizing their mission statement but, sticking that into an ad versus, the clown show that Bud Light did or, Miller Lite's tasteless ad.

^^^ You didn't provide a link... I wasn't sure whether to believe it, but: Bud Light announces monetary support for LGBTQ+ businesses The $200,000 donation to support LGBT Chamber of Commerce comes as AB InBev deals with criticism for failing to speak up for transgender rights in wake of Dylan Mulvaney controversy Bud Light today announced a show of support for LGBTQ+ community, as it fends off criticism for failing to speak up for transgender rights in the wake of its Dylan Mulvaney controversy. https://adage.com/article/mark...ber-commerce/2497346 "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor
