old rugged crossThe conclusion to my FMC (Ford) situation
I know several will recall my situation with buying a new 2024 F250 a few months back. Right after PHpaul got his.
I won't rehash the previous post I had on it. In short the F250 was a nice rig. Supercab with the 7.3 gas and 4.30 gears. Had some cool and unique options. I believe it was ordered that way by someone and they for some reason did not complete the purchase. My dealer did a trade for it and that is how I obtained. Somewhere in that process the truck was not right. Once I received I identified some issues. That started the process of trying to remedy those issues and more things came to light.
My dealer was really good. The GM especially along with his service manager. It took about 2-1/2 months to eventually come to the conclusion that FMC and my dealer replaced the truck with a new 2025 rig that was configured quite a bit differently but was approved by me and through that process they treated me very well considering. The dealer gave me a new car to use for the 2-1/2 months. FMC approved a new truck and while it took a while and I knew patience was going to be key. My dealer was fantastic through it all. So Kudos to FMC for standing behind their products and Kudos to my dealer for all they did to see this through. So in the end I am very satisfied with Ford and the new truck.

PHPaulGood to hear, ORC.
Happy with mine, it's a towing beast. 6.8 is returning a hair over 14mpg in mixed driving. About half towing an 18 foot trailer with the Cabota and various attachments.

It is an F350 crew cab short box XLT. They did the spray in bed liner as the orig. had that added. It has a snow plow camper package, upfitter switches. Dual batteries and the 410 amp alt.
Has the 7.3 L gas engine and the 3.73 gears. It is a real beast

I will work on that Nhr.
