Really sorry for your loss, and glad he's free and I believe, in a far better place.

Earlier in the thread I'd mentioned that we are in the same place with end-stage CHF, and hopefully today we will be moving Dad into the VA Hospice in town. We did home hospice for a few weeks (great people and a significant blessing), but it's just not sustainable.

It took some doing, but we are blessed to have made it to this point in the fashion we did. We've got a good family. And blessed to have the support of the VA.

Sorry for your loss. My dad passed from CHF in January. I know how difficult it can be. He is in a much better place now.
