In 1985, I gave my wife a vintage ladies Rolex for our 10th anniversary. After a few years, she gave it to our daughter for a birthday present. Trouble was, the gold mesh band was too small for her wrist and she couldn't wear it comfortably. So, it languished in her jewelry box for a long time. I had contacted every local jeweler, but no one could extend the clasp; it needed another 1/4" to fit her. I had nearly given up on it when I thought of David. I sent him some photos and he responded that he surely could extend the bracelet! I shipped it off to him and boyo, did he come through! He made a new, longer gold stirrup and I defy anyone to tell it from Rolex' work! Now, Katy is happy and wears it everywhere because it fits perfectly. The cost? Well, I've had three-martini lunches that were more expensive! David, you are a national treasure. Thank you for all you do for us on the Forum! I thought I replied to this, but well, maybe not. Anyway, Dave is the best. Please leave him a Yelp and/or Google review per this thread. https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...0601935/m/9280038254 "I vowed to myself to fight against evil more completely and more wholeheartedly than I ever did before. . . .
