When talking about the kitten did he mention anything about seven blues lines - all perpendicular to each other (and some with red ink)?

SBR with a bump stock on a pallet of cocaine. Big Grin

As to the “just a kitten”.

You’d be surprised at how detectives with drop other cases at the direction of the head shed to work animal cruelty cases. They make some folks in the public corona virus kind of crazy. One case gets reported, and 100 claims on social media of copy cat attempts.

We had a string of dog thefts years ago. The calls came pouring in. I responded to one complaint of a white van prowling to steal dogs. I was two minutes away and found the white van. The one marked U.S. Mail. Yeah, it was a mail truck delivering the mail.

People are crazy.

Checking out a possible lead. The lead in this case was nothing.

People get license plate numbers wrong all the time... from confusing 5 and S or O and D to things so far off you wonder what they were looking at.

Don’t worry about it.

In Colorado aggravated animal cruelty is a felony, and even regular animal cruelty is a first class misdemeanor... up to 18 months in county, minimum of 90 days in county and 90 days home detention. If it was my case and I had a partial plate I’d call the local department and ask them to talk to the owner.

Actually I think most local LEOs (especially Frisco) are generally pretty cool headed regarding armed citizens. What I was referring to was that I had discussed with him the fact that we have been on this stupid lockdown, and home virtually 24/7 and that the doors all have sensors. Add to that, he saw me come out already wearing a firearm. Pretty obvious that it was pretty unlikely anyone sneaked my 20 year old hooptie out of it's perch in the garage for some mayhem in Dallas (and back in) without me knowing about it. At least in the time frame of the last 8 weeks or so.

$10 says Vehicle matched description, maybe a partial plate, so they checked w everyone around who fit the broad description. Maybe there were 5, 12, or 40 of you. Who knows. Whatever. Wasn't you.

That or kittens is code for aliens (ET, not Jose).

late teens and early twenties, that's about all a guy thinks about is... 'Kittens'... at least that's how I remember it....

Most likely a vehicle description was run against all local plates and were followed up on.
