Which pistol would you choose?

PR64Which pistol would you choose?
This was a fun thread for me. Thanks for all your input.
I have chosen the model 19...
Here are the reasons for my choice.
I already have a 6" .357, My Dad's service revolver. The Colt while absolutely awesome is similar to my 66-2.
I also have my dads model 19 6" he bought in 1957 and carried on duty for ever until he was issued the 66.
My nephew who is going to get all my arsenal wanted the 19.
I don't have a 2.5" revolver.
It was a tough choice and I wish I could get all of them, but his son in law is getting two of them. Originally the SIL was going to get all of them so I can't complain...

Grayfox54I'm an avid S&W collector, but I'd take the Colt.
As mention the 2.5" Model 19 is a great carry gun, but damned hard to shoot accurately. Most folks I know who carry a snubbie 19 load it with .38 Specials so that they can actually hit something with it.

It ain't the years, its the mileage.

MinnowGreat choice on that Model 19! Share the range report when you get a chance to shoot it.

jhe888The Colt. The 19 if it was a 3" or 4".
But enjoy your Model 19, they are great. I have a model 66.

BlackmoreAs someone who grew up in greater Hartford, I'd take the Colt.

m1009Either way, it’s a good choice. We’ve been looking at a 19 in 3” barrel recently…. We love the troopers, but either one you can’t go wrong.

flashguyYou chose the one I'd have recommended. I like Colts, too, but that shorty .357 just begged.
